eMule is usually kind of bland, so I decided to give you a simple tutorial that shows you how to change your eMule skin. It won't take much time, only a couple of minutes.
1. Download my eMule skins package from here.
2. Extract the archive, and select one of the skins.
3. To install the skin, double-click on the InstallSkin file inside each skin folder.
4. Browse for your eMule directory, and click "Install Skin".
5. If you want to install all the skins and switch between them, you can do that by opening your client and right-clicking on the top menu.

This tutorial will show you how to get an IP filter for your eMule client. The IP filter will give you additional security. It is recommended to follow this tutorial, but you don't have to do it.
1. Open up the Options tab on the top menu.
2. Go to the Security menu on the left.
3. Change your settings to the settings in the picture below, and then click "Reload".
4. In the "Update from URL" box, copy and paste this link, and click "Load".

5. It should automatically start downloading.
6. Once it's done downloading, click OK to save your settings, and close the box.
Anytime you want to update your IP filter, just click on the "Load" button again.

eMule is the best eDonkey client, but it still has it's own mishaps. Many servers out there contain lots of adware and spyware, so today I'm going to show you how to get a reliable server list that can keep you safe from all viruses.
1. Open eMule and go to the Options tab.
2. On the menu, click "Server".
3. Make your settings look like the picture below, and click on List.
4. Remove everything from the notepad and then add these servers:
http://www.gruk.org/server.met.gz
http://www.peerates.net/servers.php
After you add them, copy the first URL.
5. Save the file, and close it.
6. Click OK to save your settings.
7. Go to the Servers tab, right-click and select "Remove All".
8. Confirm by clicking "Yes".
9. Paste the URL you copied in step 4.
10. Click on the "Update" button.
11. Wait for the server list to update.
12. Head over to this site.
13. Once it's open, make sure to take note of the servers highlighted in pink.
14. Go back to your server list in eMule, and remove the servers highlighted in pink from your list by right-clicking on each one and selecting "Remove".
15. Optionally, you can add servers to a favorite list, which the client automatically connects to once the connection is lost.
16. To do this, right-click on a server you'd like to add to the list, and click "Add to Static List".
17. You can check if the servers were added to your static list by clicking on the Log tab below the server list.

eMule is one of the most used P2P clients out there, after LimeWire and Ares. I like eMule because of the vast variety of files ; whether Movies, TV Shows or even Games, eMule has it all. This is my first tutorial on P2P Heaven, so I hope you guys like it.
Today I'll be showing you how to install and setup eMule, step-by-step. Follow this tutorial carefully, and you'll have no problem whatsoever. If you have any questions, just post a comment and I'll be there to help you.
1. Download eMule from here.
2. Open up the installer, select your language and click OK.
3. Click Next.
4. Click "I Agree".
5. Keep these both ticked and click Next.
6. Read the description, pick which one you want and click Next.
7. Choose where you want eMule to be installed, then click Install.
8. Once it's done, click Next.
9. Keep everything the same, and click Finish.
10. Open up eMule and click Next.
11. Enter your desired username and tick what options you want, then click Next.
12. Now, if you don't know what those numbers are, click on "Use uPnP to setup ports"; if you do know what ports are, enter your own. Check this site for help on how to setup ports manually.
13. Keep these ticked and click Next.
14. Tick this only if you need it.
15. Keep everything the same here.
16. You're done setting up eMule! Click Finish.
17. Enter your connection speed so eMule can manage your downloads/uploads automatically.
18. Now double-click on the server of your choice to connect to it.

After following these steps, everything should work perfectly. Always look for files that have high Availability. Try finding files that have 100% complete sources, so you don't get stuck in the middle of the download.
If a file doesn't download, or stops downloading suddenly, that means the sharer who was uploading the file to you either disconnected from eMule or logged off is computer. Most files have more than one sharer, but sometimes they all log-off at the same time.
eMule also accepts eD2k links, which can be found at ShareVirus. Just look for the file you want in the appropriate section, and click on the eD2k link to start the download automatically. You don't need to sign-up, which is why I love this site.
