Welcome to the second part of my exclusive and easy-to-follow DVD ripping tutorial. This tutorial is mainly going to cover three points related to uploading your movie:

A. Capturing Screenshots Of Your Movie

B. Making Your Own .NFO File

C. Uploading Your Movie to a Torrent Site or to RapidShare

I'm going to start with screen capturing. This is usually done to show downloaders the quality of your movie. This isn't necessary, but I recommend it to people who want more downloads. By now, you should have Image Grabber II installed on your computer. If you don't, just download it using the link provided.

1. Open Image Grabber II.

2. Go to File>Open File.

3. Browse for your ripped movie, and then click "Open".

4. Pause the video, and click on the small monitor icon to the right of the red stop button.

5. A small box should pop-up. Type the number "12" in the box and click "OK".

6. Once it's completed capturing random frames from your movie, go to File>Save File and follow the settings in the pictures below.

After adding the settings in the previous picture, click on "Arial" to setup the font properties.

7. Once this is all done, just click on the "Save" button.

Now upload it to an image host like XXLIMG and you're screen cap file is ready!

The next step is creating your .NFO file which contains info about the movie (length, size, resolution etc..). This is also an optional step, but it makes you feel like a pro DVD ripper!

1. Download AVI2Clipboard and install it.

2. Right-click on your movie and go to AVI2Clipboard>Save to Clipboard (Normal).

3. This should copy your movie info to the clipboard. To see the info, go to a notepad file and press Ctrl + V. Here's an example of my NFO:

4. Finally, save your file as (yourtexthere.nfo).

The last step is uploading your file to a torrent tracker or to RapidShare. If you want to upload it to a torrent tracker, you can check out this tutorial. If you want to upload your movie to RapidShare, you can follow this quick tutorial. Make sure you have WinRAR installed before proceeding.

1. Go to your movie, right-click on it and select "Add to Archive".

2. Once it's open, apply the settings in the picture below and click "OK".

You're movie should split into 100MB archives ready for upload to RapidShare.

Well, you've come to the end of my longest tutorial yet on P2P Heaven. I hope you enjoyed it and don't forget to visit us again sometime!

Searching for movies on torrent trackers maybe a thing you do almost everyday, and if it is, you must pass by a lot of ripping groups. These groups are a bunch of people who rip, or convert, and upload the latest releases out there on DVD. Here are a few examples of the most known ripping groups out there:

aXXo (my favorite)

DiAMOND

FXG

FxM

PUKKA

KLAXXON

ALLiANCE

These are only a few groups, but they are the best and most known DVD rippers. A quick search for any of these on MiniNova or The Pirate Bay will give you a lot of results. While these guys are the big shots of the ripping scene, there are still a lot of "unofficial" ripping groups out there that mostly work with TS and CAM releases.

The real question is: Have you ever wanted to rip your DVDs and upload them to the torrent scene? If the answer is no, I don't think that you should be reading this article, but if your answer is yes, you're at the right place. This article will show you how to rip and upload your DVDs in a user-friendly manner that even a complete idiot can understand.

I will divide this article into two parts; the first part (which is this one) will show you how to rip your DVDs to your hard drive. The second part will cover the concept of uploading your finalized movie to a torrent tracker or to RapidShare.

What You'll Need For This Tutorial:

- DVDDecrypter

- AutoGK

- Image Grabber II (used in Part 2)

- AVI2Clipboard (used in Part 2)

- WinRAR

Once you download and install all the software, you can start following my tutorial!

1. Insert your DVD movie into your computer's disc drive and open DVDDecrypter.

2. The program should automatically detect the inserted DVD. Go to Edit>Select Main Movie Files. It will select some files from the list on the right. Once this is done, click "Decrypt".

3. It should start copying your movie's VOB files to your hard drive. This should take around 5 minutes. The time it takes depends on your computer's hardware.

4. Once it's done, close it and open AutoGK.

5. For your input file, you'll need to select the IFO file copied by DVDDecrypter. As for your output, just select where you want your AVI movie to be saved.

6. Select the audio track you'd like to rip to your movie.

7. Look at your movie's length. If the length of your movie is 2 hours or longer, you'll need to rip your movie to 2 CDs . If your movie is shorter than 2 hours, you can just rip it to 1 CD.

8. Now open "Advanced Settings".

9. Make sure you have the same settings as the picture below.

10. All you have to do now is preview your movie before ripping it. To do this, just click on the "Preview" button.

11. After a minute or two, a Media Player Classic window should open with a preview of the final output quality. Just be patient.

12. Once you make sure the quality is excellent, you can add your movie to the queue by clicking on "Add Job".

13. You can now start the ripping process by clicking "Start".

The whole process should take about 2 hours, but this mostly depends on your computer's hardware. Just make sure not to touch anything during the ripping process, as there will be windows popping up that might make you think you have to close them. I recommend leaving it overnight, because by the time you wake up, it should be completed.

I will be posting the second part of this tutorial soon, so stay tuned for more exclusive posts on P2P Heaven!

Many of you may be living in countries where anti-P2P organizations watch what you do every moment, and downloading torrents could get you arrested. Well, if that's the case, you'll be able to download torrents safely without being caught by those prying eyes.

This is all done using a small freeware called PeerGuardian. What this little application does is block unwanted IPs from being able to see what you're doing on your computer. You won't have to specify the IPs; it'll download and update lists automatically. The following tutorial will show you how to use this software efficiently.

Read the following steps and you'll hopefully be able to block those fishy IPs that monitor your torrent activity.

1. You'll first need to download PeerGuardian v2.07 from here.

2. Install it and then open it.

3. Once you open it, a wizard should appear. Click "Next".

4. I recommend the settings in the picture below. It's your choice in the end. Click "Next".

5. Keep everything the same and click "Next".

6. Click "Finish" to close the wizard.

7. It should automatically start to update the lists.

8. This is the main window. I recommend unblocking HTTP connections and keeping everything else the same.

9. You can see if the application is blocking any IPs here.

If you've done everything correctly, you should have an anti-piracy free torrent experience. Always check back here for more great and exclusive tutorials!

There is a simple trick to fake your ratio in private trackers. This can be done simply by using a special tool called Ratio Faker. The following tutorial could get you banned from your private tracker, so don't use it unless you want to have a little fun.

1. Download Ratio Faker from here.

2. Install it to your computer and then open it.

3. The main window should look like this:

4. Open uTorrent, and go to Options>Preferences.

5. In the Connection tab, change your settings to the settings in the picture below.

6. Now go to your private tracker and download any file, but stop it before it starts downloading. Also take a note of the ratio in the picture below as proof.

7. In the Ratio Faker window, make sure to select Download, not Upload. Change the ratio settings to whatever you like.

8. Resume the download, and you should see some stuff appear in Ratio Faker.

9. After downloading the file, your ratio should increase according to the settings you applied in the Ratio Faker. (Mine didn't increase much because this tracker gives you 10GB free upload credit)

That's all to it! If I were you, I wouldn't use it for high-ranked private trackers, because they'll detect this tool easily. It is nice to use for low-ranked trackers, and it can be fun to have an outrageously high ratio. If you have any questions, just post a comment.

I posted about ORC earlier and how to use it properly and I also included a link to download a customized tracker list compatible with ORC. But some people out there might not be satisfied with the trackers on the list, so I was determined to show my readers how to add their own trackers to the list.

All you have to do is have ORC installed, if you haven't already. Once you're done, you can follow the instructions provided in the other post to help you search for open trackers. After you've done everything stated above, you can commence with reading the tutorial.

1. Open ORC and go to List> Add New Entry.

2. A small box will appear. To get the info needed for this part, head over to the tracker you want to add to the list.

3. Once there, try to find a word that, if not found, means that registrations are open. If you don't get what I mean, take a look at the picture.

4. If the phrase above isn't found on the page, it would most likely mean that registrations are open for your tracker.

5. Go back to ORC, and enter the required details, then click"OK".

Now your entry should be ready! Make sure to test it and check the results. I hope this tutorial worked for you, and if you have any questions, you can just post a comment.

Sometimes you're looking for a movie on-- let's say MiniNova. You find the movie, but there a lot of different versions to choose from. Some of them have the word DVDRIP in the movie name while others may have the word CAM or even TELESYNC. This guide will give you a brief idea of each of these tags and what they mean.

CAM

A cam rip is usually a movie captured illegally at a cinema using a digital camera or mobile phone. In most cases, a tripod is used to keep the camera steady. Usually, in cam rips, there is some noise interference ex. clapping, laughing, shouting etc. As the name says, these rips are usually the lowest quality rips and I don't recommend downloading them unless you're desperate.

TELESYNC (TS)

Telesync rips are pretty much the same as cam rips but with one difference; the use of an external audio source such as a microphone jack. These type of rips are usually more professional and can be captured from inside a noise-proof booth. In most cases, telesync rips have no or little noise interference. Like cam rips, I don't recommend downloading these either.

TELECINE (TC)

A telecine machine digitally copies the film off the reels. Sound and picture are usually excellent, but due to the expensive equipment involved, telecine rips are uncommon nowadays.

SCREENER (SCR)

A pre VHS tape that is usually sent to rental stores and various other places for promotional uses. Perfect, right? Wrong. These screeners usually have a stream of text that can be seen at the bottom of the screen and this text usually says "for promotional use only". The quality in a screener varies; if the tape was originally ripped from a master copy of the film , the quality can be very good, but if ripped from a normal copy, the quality can be as bad as a cam rip.

DVD SCREENER (DVDSCR)

Same concept as a VHS screener, but ripped over from a DVD instead. These type of rips are usually 4:3 letterbox, and the quality of the rip mostly depends on the ripper.

DVDRIP

A dvdrip is the final release of the film, and is usually in excellent quality. These rips are usually released in XviD/DivX format. I recommend downloading only DVDRIPs.

VHSRIP

Transferred off a retail VHS tape, usually skating/sports videos.

TVRIP

These type of rips are mainly shows ripped of satellite receivers (like Humax) or off TV Tuner cards. Most tv rip releases are TV Shows.

Scene Movie Release Tags

The following tags are used for scene releases, and can be seen in many torrents nowadays.

PROPER

Usually the best quality TS rip (you should know what that means by now) in the scene. The reason for a PROPER release is usually noted in the NFO.

LIMITED

This means that the movie was generally opened in 250 movie theaters or less.

STV (Straight to Video)

This shows that the movie was never showed in theaters, therefore a lot of sites don't allow these rips.

ASPECT RATIO TAGS

WS = WideScreen FS = FullScreen

REPACK

Is a re-release of a movie by a movie group. This usually means that the previous version had quality issues, so it is re-released.

That's all you have to know! If you know these tags, you'll be sure to know which version to download next time you search for you favorite movie!!! Don't forget to always check back for more great tutorials and guides on P2P Heaven!

These days, Private Tracker invites are becoming a high demand on the internet. People from all over the world are looking for someone to invite them to these secretive torrent communities.

A few days earlier, I posted about an application that checks private trackers for open registrations. This is a handy little software, but it isn't enough for most people. There are some trackers that rarely open their sign-ups. To get into these sites, you'll need an invite, and this guide will show you the easiest way to get one.

If you follow this guide carefully, I assure you that you'll be able to register to almost any private tracker in the world.

What you'll need for this guide:

- Open Registrations Checker (ORC), which can be found here.
- Good internet connection (for seeding).
- A screen capture software, like MWSnap.

1. First off, go to TorrentInvites and register there.

2. Before you can start getting invites, you'll need to post an Introduction.

3. To get accepted, you'll also need ratio proof and a speed test.

4. Do your speed test here. Once you're done with the test, save the image to your computer.

5. Now open up the ORC, find an open tracker and sign-up to it.

6. Download some files from the private tracker you signed up to and make sure to seed them until your ratio is above 3.000.

7. Install MWSnap and open it.

8. Go to the tracker you registered to, and take a picture of your ratio by pressing Ctrl + Shift + A, then selecting the area around your ratio, like this:

Or you could just snap the whole page; it's up to you.

9. Now upload your images to XXLIMG.

10. Go back to TorrentInvites, and create a new topic here.

11. Post a short and to-the-point topic and make sure to add your ratio proof and speed test at the end.

Here's an example:

You'll most probably be repped (invited to join the forum), and you'll be able to get as many invites as you want, as long as you post your proof each time you request one!

I hope you enjoyed this exclusive and detailed guide, and don't forget, always check back for more great tutorials on P2P Heaven!

There are a lot of colleges and schools out there that won't let you install anything on their computers, but if you really need to download a torrent, there is a way to download torrents without even installing a client! The service is called BitLet.

This service allows you to download torrents off your web browser without having any clients installed. The service is easy-to-use and pretty straightforward, but I'll show you how to use it in the simple tutorial below.

1. Go to BitLet.

2. Once it's opened, go to MiniNova, and search for the file you want to download.

3. Open up the download page, and follow the screenshot for each browser.

FireFox

Internet Explorer

3. Once you've got the download link, go back to BitLet, paste the link in the bar and click "Download Torrent".

4. A box will appear, and will ask you where to download the file.

5. If you've done everything correctly, it should start downloading.

It should take a few moments for the applet to find seeders/leechers, and then it should start to download. Just keep the box open while downloading and everything should be OK. Always check back for more great tutorials on P2P Heaven!
